SUMMARY:Pride Hike & Climb Alps
DESCRIPTION:We will hike\, fly\, rock-climb and climb some via ferratas in the Stubai Alps with a base in Neue Regensburger Hütte\, and celebrate pride and diversity of our communities. \nDates \nThe weekend of June 19-21 (Fri – Sun). \nProgram \nWe will meet on the Friday (June 19) at Waldcafe in Falbeson (also easily reachable by public transport: a direct bus from Innsbruck 590a or 590b). We will have two main cohorts starting at 10am and 2pm but you can hike up also independently. If you can offer a car share or need a car share\, please\, write to us: info@pinksummits.org or in the whatsapp group. \nWe will then hike up the hut (4 km\, 1.050m ascend\, 2:30h)\, enjoy coffee & cake\, and divide into smaller groups for short hiking\, sport climbing or via ferratas. In the early evening we will all meet at the hut for dinner & talks. We will present our trip to the Korowai tribes in West Papua and have another speaker on alpine topics (TBA). \nThe next day we’ll plan several options that you can join: from longer hiking trips to via ferratas and ridge climbing. Please\, take the necessary equipment with you! \nOn the third day we will have time to do more hiking/climbing/via ferratas. We plan to descend in the late afternoon. \nPrice \nSubsidised price of €86 (the rest of costs are covered by Pink Summits and Osprey) for the alpine club members (see the full list of alpine federations here) and €110 for everyone else. The price include the accommodation and half-board (breakfast and dinner) for 2 days. \nIf there are no subsidised tickets left\, you can try to book directly through the hut. \nWe have the budget to subsidise a part of the cost for the half-board in the hut for only up to 26 people. After this the registration will open for the waiting list only. After that date the refund is impossible. \nWhat to bring? \n\nAppropriate hiking\, climbing or via ferrata gear\, including protection against sun and rain\nPride symbols and rainbows\nSome snacks and drinks for the hikes and climbs\nSome cash: you have to pay for any additional drinks in cash on site. Breakfasts and dinners for those who stay at the hut are included.\nHut sleeping bag/linens.\n\nThere is a material cable car to transport luggage/paragliders to the hut by prior arrangement. Call or write to the hut.\n \nImportant! If you are a member of any alpine club (DAV\, SAC\, ÖAV\, FFCAM\, etc.)\, please\, bring your membership card with you.\n\nBad weather & alpine risks \nWe will carry out the hike even in bad weather conditions. The routes will be adapted accordingly. Therefore\, please inform yourself about the weather and bring appropriate clothing. Please also note that you are travelling at your own risk. Assess your experience on the mountain correctly or ask us if you have any doubts as to whether the tour might be too difficult for you. \nSleeping quarters / shared bedrooms \nParticipants will share the sleeping quarters as common in many alpine huts. \nEveryone is required to bring their own thin hut sleeping bag / linens. \n  \nRegister here.
