SUMMARY:PrideHike 2024 Berchtesgaden\, Germany
DESCRIPTION:We will hike in the Alps of Berchtesgaden\, namely on the Reiter Alpe\, and celebrate pride and diversity of our communities. \nProgram \nWe will meet in the morning of the first day at Hintersee in Ramsau. If you are coming by car\, please let us know if you can take other participants with you. And if you are still looking for a way to get there\, write to us: info@pinksummits.iorg. \nWe will then split into two teams: One group that takes the shorter way to the hut (duration about 4 hours) and another group that goes up a difficult hiking trail (duration about 6-7 hours). In the afternoon we will all meet at the hut named “Neue Traunsteiner Hütte”. \nNow it’s time to get to know each other\, talk\, enjoy nature or simply relax with a cold drink. In the evening we would like to tell you a bit about Pink Summits and give a talk about our trip to Alaska on Denali. The next day we’ll take it easy and take a leisurely route back to the valley. \nPrice \nSubsidized price of 25 € for those who want to overnight and to get the half-board (breakfast and dinner included) at Neue Traunsteiner Hütte. The rest of costs are covered by Pink Summits and Osprey. \nWe have the budget to subsidize a part of the cost for the half-board in the hut for only up to 25 people. Tickets with hut reservations are therefore limited to 25 people. The hut reservation must be paid by PayPal to dastanurbek@gmail.com with the subject “Pride Hike Aug 3-4” within 7 days of your registration\, otherwise your place in the hut will not be reserved. \nThere are also free tickets if you want to join without the overnight in the hut. \nWaiting List \nNo tickets left? Join our waiting list and we will inform you in case if we increase the event capacity or someone cancels their ticket. \nCancellation and refunds \nYou can get a refund of the ticket only if you cancel up to June 15th. After that date the refund is impossible. \nWhat to bring? \n1. Appropriate hiking gear \n2. Pride symbols and rainbows \n3. Some snacks and drinks for the hike \nPhotosessions \nThere will be a photographer/videographer. If you do not want to be filmed or photographed\, you will get a badge or sticker from us that you can put on your T-shirt to avoid being phorographed. \nBad Weather and Difficulties \nAs long as hiking is possible and justifiable even in bad weather conditions\, we will carry out the hike. The routes will be adapted accordingly. Therefore\, please inform yourself about the weather and bring appropriate clothing. Please also note that you are travelling at your own risk. Assess your experience on the mountain correctly or ask us if you have any doubts as to whether the tour might be too difficult for you. \nReserve your spot on Eventbrite \n
