Pride Hike & Climb Alps
We will hike, fly, rock-climb and climb some via ferratas in the Stubai Alps with a base in Neue Regensburger Hütte, and celebrate pride and diversity of our communities.
Dates
The weekend of June 19-21 (Fri – Sun).
Program
We will meet on the Friday (June 19) at Waldcafe in Falbeson (also easily reachable by public transport: a direct bus from Innsbruck 590a or 590b). We will have two main cohorts starting at 10am and 2pm but you can hike up also independently. We will then hike up the hut (4 km, 1.050m ascend, 2:30h), enjoy coffee & cake, and divide into smaller groups for short hiking, sport climbing or via ferratas. In the early evening we will all meet at the hut for dinner & talks. We will present our trip to the Korowai tribes in West Papua and have another speaker on alpine topics (TBA).
The next day we’ll plan several options that you can join: from longer hiking trips to via ferratas and ridge climbing. Please, take the necessary equipment with you!
On the third day we will have time to do more hiking/climbing/via ferratas. We plan to descend in the late afternoon.
Price
Subsidised price of €86 (the rest of costs are covered by Pink Summits and Osprey) for the alpine club members (see the full list of alpine federations here) and €110 for everyone else. The price include the accommodation and half-board (breakfast and dinner) for 2 days.
If there are no subsidised tickets left, you can try to book directly through the hut.
We have the budget to subsidise a part of the cost for the half-board in the hut for only up to 26 people. After this the registration will open for the waiting list only. We will inform people in the waiting list in case if we increase the event capacity or someone cancels their ticket.

Cancellation and refunds
You can get a full refund of the ticket only if you cancel up to June 9. After that date the refund is impossible.
What to bring?
- Appropriate hiking, climbing or via ferrata gear, including protection against sun and rain
- Pride symbols and rainbows
- Some snacks and drinks for the hikes and climbs
- Some cash: you have to pay for any additional drinks in cash on site. Breakfasts and dinners for those who stay at the hut are included.
- Hut sleeping bag/linens.
Bad weather & alpine risks
We will carry out the hike even in bad weather conditions. The routes will be adapted accordingly. Therefore, please inform yourself about the weather and bring appropriate clothing. Please also note that you are travelling at your own risk. Assess your experience on the mountain correctly or ask us if you have any doubts as to whether the tour might be too difficult for you.
Sleeping quarters / shared bedrooms
Participants will share the sleeping quarters as common in many alpine huts.
Everyone is required to bring their own thin hut sleeping bag / linens.
